It is is extremely important that dog lovers everywhere be involved with the rescue of pets from animal shelters - from rescue groups - and from other groups that save abused animals, puppy mill animals, and street animals.  If you would be interested in adopting one of the many needy animals, call us and we can direct you to the proper sources. 

The primary reason so many animals in animal shelters are put to sleep is because of rampant overpopulation due to failure of pet owners to spay and neuter their pets to prevent unwanted litters. Please help stop this by sterilizing your own pets and encouraging all your pet-owning friends to do the same! 

Here's two dogs that we have been personally able to save from certain death.  "Buster" was on "death row" at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter.  With the help of Dr. Robin Alexander at Piedmont Animal Hospital, we rescued him from euthanasia and found him a good pet home.  We've heard from his new family, and THEY LOVE HIM.

And here's a beautiful German Shepherd that wandered up.  Most people would call the pound, but we know they have their hands full, so we decided to find his family ourselves.  We posted flyers all over the area and within 24 hours had a call from his family.  Two stories with happy endings.
